A step-by-step training module to clear your inbox fast and keep it clean.

Training module: Inbox triage
Goal: reach **Inbox Zero** (or close) by quickly routing items into the right state.
Before you start
- Open the Inbox:
/inbox - Learn the keys:
J/K,Enter,R/W/D,S
Steps
- Start with **New** items.
- For each item, decide in under 15 seconds:
- Can I reply now? → **Reply**
- Am I waiting on someone else? → **Waiting**
- Is it already resolved? → **Done**
- Do I need to act later? → convert to a **Task** or **Reminder**
- Use **Snooze** (
S) when something is important but not urgent right now.
Completion checklist
- New is empty (or only contains truly ambiguous items)
- Reply contains only items you will respond to today
- Waiting contains clear “who/what” details
- Done is up-to-date
Common mistakes
- Leaving actionable items in New “for later”
- Using Waiting as a second inbox (Waiting should be specific)
