Training module: Notes and Documentation

Goal: store knowledge in a way you can find again.

Notes (personal Markdown)

  1. Open /notes.
  2. Create a folder structure that matches how you think (projects, areas, reference).
  3. Create a note and write in Markdown.
  4. Use tags consistently (keep them short and reusable).

Documentation (workspace docs)

  1. Open /docs.
  2. Create a folder for the area (Operations, Finance, Legal, HR, etc.).
  3. Create a note-style document or upload attachments.
  4. Use OCR (when enabled) for searchable attachments.
  5. Share a document via a secure link when needed.

Best practices

  • Notes for personal thinking; Docs for shareable/workspace material.
  • Don’t over-organize: start with a few folders and expand only when needed.
